Weekend events: Work day and Easter egg hunt

This Sunday, April 5th, we will have our annual Easter egg hunt for neighborhood children. But first, we will have our annual spring work day to prepare the playground for the Easter egg hunt.

Saturday, April 4th, 9 a.m. until noon: Work day
Your help is needed at the neighborhood work day. We will meet at the beach at 9:00 and divide into two groups. One group will work at the beach to finish compacting the steps to the shore and to spruce up the beach area. The second group will work at the park to clear brush from behind the tennis courts, to pick up sticks in the park and to wash the playset. There is a job for everyone’s ability level. Please give a little time from your day to make our neighborhood a nicer place to live.

Sunday, April 5th, 2 p.m.: Easter egg hunt!
Kids and parents, meet at the park for the Easter egg hunt. Kids need to bring their own baskets to hold the eggs and should be there a few minutes early. Once the hunt begins, it goes quickly, so if you arrive after 2:00, the eggs may all have been found. This is a very fun event for kids, with prizes for different age categories.
